In this role you’ll work on projects and programs to analyze crime in the area for patterns, look for similarities to crime in other areas to locate larger scale crime operations, and brief others on your findings.

Evidence Technician
In this role you'll be responsible for documenting that the proper chain of custody is followed when receiving, securing, and returning any physical evidence submitted to the Property Control Unit.

Fire/EMS Dispatcher

Air Ambulance Pilot
Air ambulance pilots command the medical helicopters deployed to provide swift transport to critically injured individuals. Air ambulances ensure that the most serious medical cases can reach major hospitals quickly.

Assistant Chief
The assistant chief manages crews and other personnel. This role is directly under the Fire Chief, and the assistant chief often assumes the top managerial role during the chief's absence.

Battalion Chief
The Battalion Chief is a high ranking position, serving under the Fire Chief. Battalion Chiefs manage crew schedules and other operational and managerial decisions for the district.

Code Enforcement Officer
Code enforcement officers enforce local municipal codes and laws. These officers issue citations related to code violations.

Crisis Negotiator
Crisis negotiators work to deescalate a potentially violent situation, engaging in conversation with the perpertrator and encouraging them to turn themselves over to authorities. Crisis negotiators also understand the sensitive strategies to help individuals threatening to commit suicide.

Detective
Police detectives investigate crimes, gathering evidence and testimony to help press charges for a crime.

Disaster Response Coordinator
The disaster response coordinator creates strategies and tactical plans on disaster response. These plans detail every facet on managing the disaster, from alerting the public to detailed recovery and aid plans (when needed).

Emergency Medical Dispatcher
Emergency medical dispatchers answer 911 calls and route emergency crews and law enforcement to the scene.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
EMTs provide medical support during emergencies or medical crises. Many EMTs also offer basic medical support (like blood sugar testing or ECGs) to those in their District.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician
These technicians are the tactical experts for disarming and disposing of bombs and other explosive. This position requires advanced training, and many EOD technicians have previous military experience.

Fire Chief
The Fire Chief oversees the operational management of a fire district. The Chief is responsible for all crews and works with the Board of Directors for final approval related to district expenses and employment decisions.

Fire Investigator
Fire investigators lead the investigation to find the cause of a fire. They analyze the scene after the fire is extinguished, searching for clues and evidence to understand the fire's origin.

Fire Marshal
The position of fire marshal is focused on code enforcement. Fire marshals provide inspections to ensure that electrical wiring and other components comply with state or national fire codes.
